Each 100° Series Argon-Purged Waterproof eyepiece is internally sealed and purged with inert, dry nitrogen gas to prevent internal fogging, to halt the intrusion of fine particulates and fungus, and to maximize the life of the internal coatings. To make sure, every 100° eyepiece is tested by submerging them down to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. All 100° Series eyepieces are fully multi-coated and edge-blackened to produce maximum contrast.

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order. Cancellations & Refunds:

Daystar Filters's Warranty:
If used as directed, your DayStar filter is guaranteed for ten years. Should the filter become inoperative due to optical or mechanical failure, Daystar will repair the filter or replace it with an equivalent filter at no repair cost to the customer.
Under no circumstances shall a refund be issued:
due to application issues or the buyer's lack of skills in application of the product
Application of the DayStar product requires a degree of technical expertise specific to the exact product line, which is not common to other optical applications
if the product’s technical application procedures are NOT followed properly and poor results are yielded
Application procedures are posted on Daystar’s website and are stated in further detail in the client's operation manual
due to buyer’s remorse
Goods are warranted to be in operative, working condition as stated in specifications of product at the time of delivery. Extremely pleased with the sharp to the edge wide field and bright images
I have recently gotten your 20, 14 and 9mm 100 degree eyepieces. I use them with an SCT scope and F10 large refractor. I have to say that I am extremely pleased with the sharp to the edge wide field and bright images. I was able to try them against some [other famous brand 100 degree eyepieces] and found the Explore eyepieces to be every bit as good. I am discontinuing the use of most of my 1.25" eyepieces in favor of these. Thanks for some great products!

Difficult to Use Other Eyepieces After Looking Through This One.
Last year, I won your 20-mm, 100-degree eyepiece at an amateur astronomy event. After a year of use, I find it difficult to look through other eyepieces. The views are so full and sharp across the entire field-of-view that switching to other eyepieces is a real letdown. I have two other eyepieces with longer focal lengths; I use them strictly for producing a wide field to make locating objects easier. They have been effectively replaced by this one. This eyepiece provides me with the perfect combination of magnification and field-of-view. If forced to use only one eyepiece, I would choose this one. I look forward to trying some of the other focal lengths in this product line.

My Personal Favorite 2-inch OD Eyepiece!
The ES-20FL-100deg is absolutely my personal favorite 2-inch OD eyepiece-! The views are "Wow-!" The views are surprisingly wonderful in a 127mm f/10 Mak-Cass, as well as in telescopes as fast as f/4. Excellent-! Great value-!
