The DayStar Quark Sodium D-Line is a specialty solar filter that lets you observe the Sun in the sodium (Na) D-line at around 589nm — a different wavelength from the more common hydrogen-alpha. Sodium light reveals its own layer of solar detail, giving experienced observers a fresh way to study the Sun's atmosphere.

Like the rest of the Quark eyepiece line, it installs into your focuser like an eyepiece and includes its own magnifying lens, so it's a self-contained way to add a new solar wavelength to your kit.
