The Front Gold Side Plate for Quantum Filters on Refractors and On-Axis Setups

The Q3GFTF is the front (gold/sun side) outer plate for DayStar Quantum solar filters — the flat version for on-axis refractor use. It has a female T-thread (M42 × 0.75mm) that accepts the GM2DT 2" drawtube snout or the GF2SCTT SCT adapter on the telescope side.

For off-axis SCT use, you need the wedged version instead — the Q3GWTF. The flat plate is only correct for refractors and other on-axis configurations.
