The Front Gold Side Plate for Quantum Filters on Off-Axis SCT Setups

The Q3GWTF is the front (gold/sun side) outer plate for DayStar Quantum solar filters — specifically the wedged version for off-axis SCT use. The wedge angle compensates for the tilted light path when using the Quantum with an off-axis ERF on a Schmidt-Cassegrain, keeping the filter properly aligned with the incoming beam. It has a female T-thread (M42 × 0.75mm) that accepts the GM2DT 2" drawtube snout or the GF2SCTT SCT adapter.

For on-axis refractor use, you need the flat version instead — the Q3GFTF. The wedge is only needed for off-axis SCT configurations.
