The Quantum 0.3Å PE represents the absolute limit of what is achievable with an air-spaced Fabry-Pérot etalon at the amateur level. At this bandwidth, mottles, individual spicule columns, micro-filament threads, and chromospheric shock waves become visible with the right seeing — contrast approaching what you would expect from a tilt-tuned or pressure-scanned system costing an order of magnitude more. This filter is for observers with a dedicated solar telescope, exceptional seeing conditions, and a serious imaging rig. PE certification means your specific unit has been individually tested, measured, and documented for etalon homogeneity and on-band transmittance. Ships free to the US.
