The Explore Scientific ED80 f/6 Air-Spaced Triplet APO Package is a complete, high-precision astrophotography system designed for beginners to advanced imagers. Featuring the acclaimed ED80 triplet apochromat, a matched 0.8× focal reducer/field flattener, the iEXOS-100 PMC-Eight GoTo equatorial mount, and two CW22-00 counterweights, this setup delivers everything you need for portable, accurate deep-sky imaging.

The ED80 triplet APO provides excellent color correction and crisp detail across the field. Paired with the 0.8× reducer, the system achieves a faster f/4.8 imaging speed and a wider, flatter field ideal for nebulae, galaxies, and wide-field astrophotography.

The iEXOS-100 PMC-Eight mount offers wireless control, precision tracking, and belt-driven motors for smoother guiding and imaging. With the two included counterweights, you can perfectly balance heavier imaging trains such as cooled cameras, guiders, and accessories.

This all-in-one kit is optimized for astrophotography efficiency, portability, and high-quality optical performance.
