A step-up 80mm apo refractor with premium FCD100 glass — plus a 0.8x reducer for fast, wide-field imaging.

The ED80-FCD100 uses HOYA top-tier FCD100 extra-low-dispersion glass (comparable to Ohara FPL-53) for even better color correction and contrast than a standard ED scope — so nebulae and star fields really pop. The included 0.8x focal reducer speeds it up to a wide, fast imaging system, ideal for large deep-sky targets, and the 2.5-inch hex focuser holds heavy camera gear rock-steady.

Why you will like it

  • Premium FCD100 optics — better red-light transmission and contrast for standout astrophotos
  • Faster, wider field — included 0.8x reducer shortens exposures and widens the view
  • Heavy-duty focuser — 2.5 inch hex focuser supports up to 10 lbs of gear
  • Portable — compact tube with dew shield and Vixen dovetail

What is in the box: ED80-FCD100 f/6 triplet telescope, 0.8x focal reducer, 2.5-inch hex focuser, 2 extension tubes, built-in dew shield, Vixen dovetail.
