The continuous zoom lets you go from a wide overview to a detailed close-up with a single turn of the knob — no swapping objectives, no losing your place. Reflected and transmitted illumination are both built in, covering opaque specimens (rocks, PCBs, insects) and semi-transparent specimens equally. The trinocular port accepts a digital camera for documentation, teaching, or online sharing.
