The Alpen Apex 640 50mm Thermal Clip-On Scope is a front-mounted thermal attachment that turns your existing day scope into a thermal-capable setup, without swapping optics or losing your zero. It attaches ahead of riflescopes up to 10x magnification, letting you keep your familiar reticle and glass while adding thermal detection for low-light and no-light hunting.

A 640x512 thermal sensor with a 50mm lens delivers detection ranges up to 2,600 meters, and a built-in laser rangefinder measures distance out to 1,000 meters. A sharp 1920x1080 OLED display and six color palettes make it easy to pick out and track heat signatures.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a "clip-on" thermal do differently from a dedicated thermal scope?
A clip-on mounts in front of your existing day scope rather than replacing it, so you keep your familiar reticle and zero while adding thermal detection on top.

Will it work with any riflescope?
It's compatible with day scopes up to 10x magnification; check your scope's objective lens diameter against the mount before purchasing.

Does it have a built-in rangefinder?
Yes, a laser rangefinder accurate to 1000m is built in.

How long does the battery last?
With dual rechargeable 18650 batteries, runtime is rated up to 15 hours total.
