The Alpen Apex LRF 35mm Rifle-Mounted Thermal Scope brings the same 640x512 thermal sensor and built-in laser rangefinder as its 50mm sibling in a lighter, more compact package. The 35mm lens is a great fit for shorter- to medium-range hunting where a smaller, lighter scope makes a difference on the rifle.

Because thermal imaging picks up heat rather than visible light, it works in total darkness and can reveal game that would otherwise blend into brush or shadow. A sharp 1440x1080 OLED display and 1x/2x/4x/8x digital zoom keep targets easy to identify at range.

  • Digital zoom (1x, 2x, 4x, 8x) for flexible target identification.
  • Lighter 608g body compared to the 50mm model, for a more balanced rifle setup.
  • Recoil-activated video recording with 32GB internal storage and Wi-Fi.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose the 35mm over the 50mm version?
The 35mm lens is lighter and more compact, making it a good fit for shorter-range hunting or when weight on the rifle matters more than maximum detection distance.

Does this scope work in total darkness?
Yes — thermal imaging detects heat rather than light, so it works with no ambient light at all.

Is the rangefinder built in?
Yes, a laser rangefinder accurate to 1000m is built directly into the scope.

How many zeroing profiles does it support?
It supports five zeroing profiles, so you can save settings for multiple rifles or loads.
