A bright, waterproof spotting scope that is easy to use — even if it is your first one.

The Explore Scientific Condor 20–60x85 gets you close to what you are watching, whether that is a hawk across the valley, a buck at the tree line, or your shots downrange. Just point, turn the focus knob, and zoom from 20x to 60x to dial in the detail. The large 85mm objective lens pulls in plenty of light for a clear, bright image, and the fully weather-sealed body means a little rain will not stop your session.

Why you will like it

  • See more detail — 85mm objective lens (the big front lens) delivers a bright, high-contrast view even in low light
  • Zoom to fit the moment — smooth 20x to 60x zoom, from a wide scan to a tight close-up, with no clicks or steps
  • Take it anywhere — waterproof body handles rain, mist, and damp mornings
  • Comfortable for glasses-wearers — twist-up eyecups let you see the full view with or without glasses
  • Flexible viewing angles — the body rotates 240 degrees, so you can view comfortably whether the scope sits high or low
  • Built-in sun and dew shield — slides out to cut glare and keep the lens clear

Great for: birdwatching, wildlife and nature viewing, hunting, target shooting and the range, sporting events, scenic landscapes, and phone or camera digiscoping.

What is in the box: spotting scope, padded carry bag with shoulder straps (with openings so you can use it without removing the bag), cleaning cloth, and instruction manual.

Good to know: mounts on any standard photo tripod (a tripod is recommended for steady, high-zoom viewing and is sold separately). You can also attach a Nikon or Canon DSLR with an optional camera adapter for long-distance photos.
