The Explore Scientific Dobsonian Shroud is a custom-fit light shroud for 10" and 12" truss-tube Dobsonian telescopes. A truss-tube Dobsonian has an open frame between the mirror and the eyepiece, and that open gap lets in stray light, dust, and wind that wash out the view — the shroud wraps around the trusses to seal the light path and keep your image dark and high-contrast.

Made from stretchable, opaque black fabric with elasticized ends, it slips over the truss structure in seconds with no tools, and its breathable material still lets your mirror cool naturally.
