The Explore Scientific iEXOS-100-02 PMC-Eight Equatorial Mount & Tripod is a compact, portable, and powerful GOTO mount designed for beginner to intermediate astronomers and astrophotographers. Built around the proven PMC-Eight™ multi-processor motion control system, it delivers exceptionally smooth tracking and accurate slewing across the night sky.
With wireless or wired control options, you can operate the mount via smartphone, tablet, or PC using compatible software. The mount includes an illuminated polar finder, adjustable stainless-steel tripod, and counterweights for balancing small refractors, Maksutovs, or DSLR/astro camera setups. Its lightweight design makes it perfect for travel, grab-and-go observing, and portable imaging rigs. Despite its size, it offers precise tracking performance ideal for visual astronomy and entry-level astrophotography.
