This Explore Scientific U-Mount with field tripod is a parallelogram-style mount built to steady giant astronomy binoculars for comfortable, shake-free stargazing. Large binoculars gather a lot of light but are heavy to hold, and a dedicated binocular mount takes the weight off your arms so views of star clusters and the Milky Way stay rock-steady.

Will it hold my binoculars?
It's designed for the Explore Scientific BT series and fits most large binoculars with a 70–120 mm objective and a 1/4" photo-thread socket, up to 26.5 lb.

Can I point straight up?
Yes. The mount allows 90° of upward tilt so you can comfortably view objects near the zenith.

Does it come with the tripod?
Yes. The field tripod is included, and the U-mount can be separated from it for easier transport.

Is it easy to swap binoculars on and off?
