A fixed neutral density filter gives one brightness level; this one lets you adjust the dimming continuously to match the Moon's phase, your telescope's aperture, and your comfort.

Does it fit 1.25" eyepieces?
This is the 2" version, for 2" eyepieces and diagonals. Use a 2"-to-1.25" adapter if needed, or choose a 1.25" filter for 1.25" eyepieces.

Can I use it on planets?
