The SVBONY SC002 is an entry-level WiFi astronomy camera that makes wireless planetary and lunar imaging affordable and easy. It replaces an eyepiece in your telescope and beams the live view to your phone, tablet or computer over its own WiFi signal — so you and others can watch the Moon and planets on screen and capture photos and video without any laptop cables.

It's a friendly first step into astro-imaging and electronically-assisted astronomy (EAA): point at a bright target, connect through the app, and start recording.

Who it's for: Absolute beginners and families who want a simple, low-cost way to photograph the Moon and planets and share the view live. Learn the fundamentals in our beginner's guide to astrophotography.

  • Built-in WiFi: streams the live view to a phone, tablet or computer — no laptop needed.
  • Easy to use: drops into a 1.25" focuser and connects through a simple app.
  • Great for the Moon and planets: capture photos and video of bright Solar System targets.
  • Share the view: multiple people can watch on their own devices.
  • Budget-friendly: an inexpensive way to try astro-imaging and EAA.
