A Powerful, Portable Deep-Sky Telescope That's Ready to Use Out of the Box

The APZ-R130Sf combines a 130mm Newtonian reflector with Vixen's APZ alt-azimuth mount — a complete, ready-to-use system for visual deep-sky observing. The 130mm parabolic mirror gathers significantly more light than smaller beginner scopes, revealing faint star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies in real detail, while the fast f/5 focal ratio keeps the tube compact and the field of view wide.

The APZ mount uses friction-controlled axes with sealed ball bearings and slow-motion controls, making it easy to sweep the sky by hand and fine-tune your aim without jarring the view. No motors, no setup complexity — just point and look.

What You Can See

  • Galaxies: Andromeda, Whirlpool, and fainter targets
  • Nebulae: Orion, Ring Nebula, and open star-forming regions
  • Rich star clusters and globular clusters
  • Detailed lunar and planetary views

Key Features

  • 130mm parabolic mirror — strong light gathering for deep-sky objects
  • 650mm focal length (f/5) — wide, bright fields ideal for sweeping large areas of sky
  • APZ alt-azimuth mount with friction control, slow-motion adjustments, and sealed ball bearings
  • Intuitive alt-azimuth pointing — no polar alignment needed for visual use
  • Two eyepieces included for low and medium magnification
