The Vixen SD115S OTA ES26148 is a premium 115 mm SD‑glass apochromatic refractor tube, designed for serious visual astronomy and high-quality astrophotography. The large 115 mm aperture and 890 mm focal length (f/7.7) deliver bright, high-contrast, and wide-field views — perfect for deep-sky objects, star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, as well as detailed lunar and planetary observations.

Using Vixen’s advanced SD glass (FPL53) in a fully multicoated apochromatic lens system, this OTA minimizes chromatic and spherical aberrations, giving crisp, sharp, and true-color images across the field. Designed for both eyepiece observation and imaging, the SD115S supports 2" and 1.25" eyepieces, and its drawtube includes T‑ring/camera threads — ready for prime-focus or afocal astrophotography.

The tube comes equipped with a flip-mirror diagonal with dual eyepiece holders, dovetail mounting plate, tube rings with carry handle, and a 7×50 mm illuminated finder — making it easy to mount, transport, and use on various mounts (sold separately).
