A Compact, High-Performance Apochromatic Refractor for Travel and Astrophotography

The SD81S II is an 81mm Super-ED apochromatic refractor — a compact, lightweight optical tube that punches well above its size. The Super-ED glass virtually eliminates color fringing and delivers sharp, true-color images with excellent contrast, and the fast 625mm focal length (f/7.7) gives wide, bright views suited for everything from large nebulae to detailed lunar and planetary work.

At just 3.6kg and 585mm long, it's one of the most portable high-performance refractors in Vixen's lineup. The tube comes fully equipped and ready to mount on a compatible equatorial or alt-az mount.
