A Flagship 103mm Apochromatic Refractor With Built-In Field Correction

The AX103S is a 103mm SD glass triplet apochromatic refractor — the same optical tube used in several of Vixen's premium complete telescope kits. The SD glass virtually eliminates color fringing, and the built-in field-corrector lens keeps stars sharp all the way to the edges of the field, which is especially valuable for astrophotography.

At 825mm focal length (f/8), it balances well between wide-field deep-sky views and the magnification needed for detailed planetary and lunar work. The tube comes fully equipped and ready to mount on a compatible equatorial or alt-az mount.
