An 8" Catadioptric with a Built-In Field Corrector — Sharp Stars Edge-to-Edge

The VC200L uses Vixen's VISAC optical system — an 8" (200mm) design that uses both mirrors and lenses, with a built-in three-element field corrector. Most telescopes at this aperture need an add-on corrector to get flat, sharp images across the full frame; the VC200L has it built in. The open-tube design also cools down faster than sealed SCT or Maksutov scopes and is less prone to dewing.

At f/9 and 1800mm, it's well suited to planets and tight deep-sky targets at high magnification. For wider imaging, the optional Focal Reducer 2 for VC200L drops it to f/6.4 (1386mm).

Mount not included. Compatible with SX2, SXD2, SXP, SXP2, and AXD mounts.
